The British International Studies Association‘s Postgraduate Network (BISA-PGN) is a student-led initiative for International Studies postgraduates (both research and taught) and Early Career Scholars who have recently obtained their PhDs.
The aims of BISA-PGN are fourfold:
- To represent the interests of postgraduates within BISA
- To provide training opportunities for postgraduates to enhance their collaborative, learning, researching, and teaching skills
- To bring together postgraduates from different intellectual traditions and cultural backgrounds to form research, teaching and support networks.
- To encourage an active postgraduate community that engages with the broader academic community and BISA members at various stages in their careers.
Every year, BISA-PGN is involved in organising multiple events, conferences and workshops, and funding opportunities. BISA-PGN membership is free for all postgraduate (paid) members of BISA, so consider joining BISA today to take advantages of these exclusive opportunities BISA-PGN offers its members throughout the year.
