The British International Studies Association‘s Postgraduate Network (BISA-PGN) is a student-led initiative for International Studies postgraduates (both research and taught) and Early Career Scholars who have recently obtained their PhDs.

The aims of BISA-PGN are fourfold:

  1. To represent the interests of postgraduates within BISA
  2. To provide training opportunities for postgraduates to enhance their collaborative, learning, researching, and teaching skills
  3. To bring together postgraduates from different intellectual traditions and cultural backgrounds to form research, teaching and support networks.
  4. To encourage an active postgraduate community that engages with the broader academic community and BISA members at various stages in their careers.

Every year, BISA-PGN is involved in organising multiple events, conferences and workshops, and funding opportunities. BISA-PGN membership is free for all postgraduate (paid) members of BISA, so consider joining BISA today to take advantages of these exclusive opportunities BISA-PGN offers its members throughout the year.
